“I lost my home in the San Diego Witch fire in Oct. 2007. When faced with the issue of re-building I decided to build the log home I had always wanted. I spoke to many builders and ultimately decided on Barrington-Dales. They had done some small contracting jobs for me over the years and I was always satisfied, but it was mainly their attitude & confidence in approaching a new kind of construction (for them) that won my favor.

From the start Barrington-Dales was involved in every aspect of the project from the building permits, architectural & technical design and all aspects of construction. Early in the project I realized they had an uncanny ability to find the right sub-contactors at the right price and probably most importantly they offered excellent communication. Over the almost one year span it took from inception to completion I never had a problem getting a quick answer to my questions and concerns and considering that we had nearly daily communication this was no trite point.

During the course of construction many unique problems to log construction emerged such as how to build an adjustable “floating roof” and how to merge log walls to conventional drywall interiors. In every case Barrington-Dales came through with creative and at times brilliant solutions! I doubt many other builders would have such insight or creative ability.

I was also very impressed with the interior design guidance Barrington-Dales offered. Everything from the colors, flooring, stone and tile used in this home, would never had turned out as nice as it did without them.

We have never had major "construction" before and everyone warned us about what usually goes on and goes wrong. WOW! You proved everyone wrong. I could not believe how efficient your contractors were in every aspect. The place was cleaned every day, you were finished before you said you would be done and everyone you hired for our project were truly professional and kind.

It was nice to know that everyone who was working in our home respected our space as well as got the job done they needed to.
